WHO WE ARE!
Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth.
The possibilities for having fun as a Shriner are endless.
Our local Shrine Centers (chapters) around the world have thousands of activity-based clubs, units and events that provide ways for members to connect with each other in a fun environment. A unique aspect of our local chapters is that creativity is encouraged, and if a club for a particular activity doesn’t exist, members are empowered to create one.
We seek to attract men of different backgrounds, career paths, ages and interests, and the unique ideas, beliefs and perspectives they bring to our global Shriners family. Our members are known for their loyalty, camaraderie and their steadfast support of each other, their communities and their philanthropy, Shriners Children's.

SEPTEMBER 6, 2025
The Gumbo Shootout at the Shrine is a fundraising event to help support our local Shrine Temple. “Proceeds are for the benefit of Hadji Shriners activities. Payments are not deductible as charitable contributions.”
FOR THE PUBLIC, We will be selling wristbands for tasting all of the delicious gumbo and cajun food entries for $20. People’s Choice is voted on with tokens. Each person purchasing a Wrist Band will be given ten tokens for voting. Children under 12 will be admitted free of charge.
- The event will be held on September 6th from 12PM-UNTIL WE RUN OUT!
- People's Choice tasting for the public will be held from 12PM-UNTIL WE RUN OUT!
- Event address will be at 800 West 9 Mile Rd., Pensacola, FL 32534
- Alcoholic Beverages will be available on site for purchase. (NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL ALLOWED)
- There will be an ATM on Site
- We will have food / craft vendors!
- There will be a children's area at the event.
- We will also have koozies and shirts for sale at the event.
- There will be a Steak Cookoff Happening the same day that will be sanctioned by Steak Cookoff Association. For more info on this event please visit wwww.sizzlinsteakshowdown.com
- Our Antique Car Unit will also be having a Car and Jeep Show on the grounds.
